LCEF “Red for Ed,” LCTA, & FCCLA Student Group Join Together to Support Public Education

Three organizations within Lake Central School Corporation collaborate in support of public education. 

The Lake Central Education Foundation (LCEF) paid for the supplies to make red ribbons for staff and community members to wear during “Education Week”. Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) student members made the ribbons. Pictured (left to right) are Annamarie Wayman, Jillian Jacobs, Marion Wright, and Ashley Immig. Lake Central Teachers Association (LCTA)  passed out the ribbons at Indiana state house in Indianapolis at the rallies supporting public education.

Lake Central Teachers Association (LCTA) were given the red ribbons to pass out at state house rallies in support of public education.  Lake Central Education Foundation representatives (left to right) Zachary Seljan and Molly Waldier, presented bags of ribbons and information cards to LCTA Co-President Charity Lyda.  Also pictured are (right to left) Co-Presidents Susan Schweitzer and Louise Tallent.
